As we continue to grow, we have a number of roles to fill–user experience, community management, technology, data, design, and more. While our main office is in downtown Seattle, we prioritize talent over geography. Our team is distributed around the globe.
As Community Manager, you will be the face and voice of Ander to millions of members. The Community Manager will be a product and audience champion, an Ander evangelist, and can develop big ideas from concept to execution to delight Ander members. You will inspire, excite and lead community and impact millions of members; Ander community platforms will need your thoughtful moderation leadership. By building, engaging and maintaining relationships with our members and customers/clients, you will inform and guide production by providing clear and actionable qualitative feedback from the community. You will bring Ander members together and thereby improve public perception, overall retention and energize our brand advocates.
Responsibilities
Ensure the Ander member community is engaged, feels listened to and has expectations well managed.
Integrate, collaborate and grow cross-functional partnerships through becoming a subject matter expert in core features, mechanics, “metagame,” in-app promotions, target KPIs, and fan sentiment.
Manage day-to-day communication activities. Duties include launch plan, editorial calendar, and other community-oriented activities development and planning, then the community engagement efforts, forum moderation, streaming or webinars, etc.
Collaborate and ideate with cross-functional teams to develop annual, quarterly and customer-specific community initiatives.
Meet KPIs for community engagement initiatives with an emphasis on meaningful measurement and actionable key learning, while helping define and evolve KPIs in response to growing business and community.
The Data Engineer uses data to oversee, nurture, and drive Ander’s community, product, and business strategy. Identify opportunities, synthesize data, and communicate to and empower the Ander team through timely, validated, actionable data, visualization, and analysis. The Data Engineer will strive to ensure Ander meets the highest data quality standards and demonstrates uncompromising adherence to data privacy regulations.
Effectively engage internal and external stakeholders in the process of understanding and actioning Ander’s data.
Turn problems into projects, information into intelligence, and insight into business decisions that drive engagement.
Engineer, deploy, integrate, document, maintain, and scale cloud-based data science systems.
Research, recommend, and implement new systems and infrastructures.
Increase efficiency through automation and configuration optimizations.
Collaborate on a team, including outsourced engineers, to develop ETL processes on a variety of structured and unstructured sources.
Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, durable, and performant code base and analytics toolset.
Proficient enough in DevOps to configure and maintain your own dev and test environments—don’t mind getting your hands dirty with system admin.
Stay current with best practices in data quality management, including adherence to data privacy laws and regulations.

Champion a user-centered engagement culture, define the product roadmap, and lead collaborative execution against it.
Communicate product vision and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with internal and external development teams to direct the focus of the project with an eye towards compelling engagement through modern digital experience design, game design and community management techniques.
Continuously gather insights from data, community feedback, research, experiments to understand user interest and intent. Synthesize these learnings into design conversations, craft the roadmap and feature requirements, lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering results on time, and quickly iterate to drive greater user engagement.
Oversee the development of visionary demos and prototypes, creating engaging, innovative, emotional and transformative experiences, both through digital and real-world touchpoints.
As Executive Producer, you understand how to drive business excellence — bringing in business requirements, planning progress, identifying risks and aligning expectations and development to resources, ultimately delivering excellent products, services and experiences for customers, partners and users. A diplomatic communicator, you’ve mastered negotiating competing interests and viewpoints, aligning everyone involved towards common objectives and product releases.
